Automotive industry background
I’ve been a mechanic since 2011. I started off working for Derrick Dodge in grade 11 under R.A.P. (Registered Apprenticeship Program). I was 17 at the time. Fast forwarding, I am now a doctor of Chryslers (meaning I am fully certified by Chrysler to do any repair).
Edmonton, Alberta — but my mom is from Charlottetown, PEI.
Hobbies & interests
– Gym (mainly lifting weights)
– Hockey (watching Oilers)
– Interested in any one else’s cool car
Favourite cars are a tough one, but anything that is modified in any way is good with me. I do like the S3, S4, and RS3 cars though. Perfect mix of power and comfort!
My summer fun car is a 2015 GTI 6 speed with a fully built engine and other goodies, currently waiting for a hybrid turbo (did all the work myself) mainly to have fun on the streets and drag race.
My winter car is a 2000 beetle 1.8T 6 speed K04 turbo and other goodies as well.
Working at Rivercity Motors
I love my job is because of the family atmosphere, where if some one has an issue, another tech is willing to help — and vice versa. People here actually care about their work and customer satisfaction, instead of just making hours and putting out rather unacceptable work.
Install turbo on summer car and run 12.5 or higher. Far far future would eventually like to be a shop foreman or maybe shop owner one day.
