We are seeking an energetic and reliable General Service & Shop Assistant to join our team.
The role
This is a crucial, entry-level position perfect for someone looking to get their start in a professional automotive shop. You will play a vital role in ensuring our high standards are met before every car is returned to the client and that the shop runs efficiently.
You will be responsible for several essential duties that directly support our Journeyman Technicians and uphold the quality reputation of Rivercity Motors.
Key responsibilities
Quality Control (QC): Perform thorough quality control inspections and cleaning on all vehicles after major repairs and before client pickup.
Shop Support: Assist technicians with various tasks, such as stocking parts, organizing tools, and keeping workspaces clean.
Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the wash bay, shop floors, and common areas.
Administrative Support: Assist with cleaning team uniforms and preparing work areas.
Equipment Handling: Assist with moving and organizing equipment and supplies in the warehouse.
What we're looking for
Attitude: A great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, self-starting mindset are a must.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to learn.
